Ken Sanders Rare Books is pleased to announce a reading by poet, novelist, and essayist Ed Lueders on Thursday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m. at our downtown bookstore (268 South 200 East). Copies of Lueders books, including his classic The Clam Lake Papers, will be available for purchase and signing. This event is free and open to the public.

Ken Sanders Appearing Live
on Antiques Roadshow

Ken Sanders Rare Books is pleased to announce that Ken Sanders will be a featured appraiser in several upcoming episodes of Antiques Roadshow. Additionally, PBS will rebroadcast a number of season 12 episodes, including those in Salt Lake City in which Ken was also a featured appraiser. Sanders will be featured in both Hour 2 and Hour 3 of the Salt Lake City episodes (airing on October 13th and October 20th, respectively) as well as the episodes for Dallas which airs in three parts on January 26th, February 2nd, and February 9th of 2009 and the Hartford episodes which will air in three parts on May 11th, May 18th, and May 25th of 2009. Antiques Roadshow airs on Monday nights at 6:00 p.m. MST.

Part adventure, part history lesson, and part treasure hunt, five-time Emmy® Award-nominated ANTIQUES ROADSHOW marks its thirteenth season in 2009. PBS's highest-rated series, ROADSHOW is seen by almost 11 million viewers each week. Veteran television personality Mark L. Walberg serves as series host.

In each hour-long ROADSHOW episode, specialists from the country's leading auction houses — Bonhams and Butterfields, Christie's, Doyle New York, Skinner and Sotheby's — and independent dealers from across the nation offer free appraisals of antiques and collectibles. ANTIQUES ROADSHOW cameras capture tales of family heirlooms, yard sale bargains and long-lost items salvaged from attics and basements, while experts reveal the fascinating truths about these finds. celebrates rich archaeology of Range Creek,
Desolation Canyon and Nine Mile Canyon

Ken Sanders Rare Books is proud to host a public introduction
of “Treasures of the Tavaputs” at a book signing, photo display and informal discussion of the future of Utah's rich archaeological heritage on Friday, July 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Half of all book sales go to the Colorado Plateau Archaeological Alliance, a Utah-b ased non-profit created in 2005 to foster the protection and preservation of archaeological resources throughout theWest.
